New Wage Scales Retail Non-Food per 1 July 2020

Per 1 July 2020 the Dutch statutory minimum wage is raised by 1.6%. This also effects the wages in the Retail non-food. The wages of employees and the wages in the scales are increased by the same percentage. An employee with a wage above the new maximum of his scale is not entitled to this raise.

The wage increase was agreed on with the collective bargaining agreement in 2018. In current times we saw it as not fit to increase the wages due to the heavy effect of Corona measures on the retail branches. Despite heave effort and discussion with labour unions it was not possible to delay the wage increase to a later date.
